My Voice Matters. Who gets your vote in the 2020 general election? On 19 September there will be a general election. In a general election you can vote for the people and political parties you would like to see form a government. Come and hear what the political parties have to say about the big issues that affect disabled people. When: Saturday 29 August 2020 1.00 pm to 3.00 pm. Where: Blind Low Vision New Zealand, Awhina House, 4 Maunsell Road, Parnell, Auckland.The people from the different political parties will talk about: education, working, housing, getting around using transport, laws about making things accessible for everyone, and how health and disability services could be in the years to come.
