My Voice Matters. Who gets your vote in the 2020 general election? On 19 September there will be a general election. In a general election you can vote for the people and political parties you would like to see form a government. Come and hear what the political parties have to say about the big issues that affect disabled people. When: Saturday 29 August 2020 1.00 pm to 3.00 pm. Where: Blind Low Vision New Zealand, Awhina House, 4 Maunsell Road, Parnell, Auckland.

The people from the different political parties will talk about: education, working, housing, getting around using transport, laws about making things accessible for everyone, and how health and disability services could be in the years to come. There will be time for you to ask questions. There will be afternoon tea at the end of the meeting.
